A few weeks left

There are only a few weeks left before schools starts. Many of the teachers are painting and already have lesson plans for the first few weeks. I really am not ready to do that as we have not figured out exactly what I am teaching.

We will have 5 teachers this year instead of 4, so does that mean I have Math and Science or just Science. It is frustrating. I just wish someone could figure it out instead of this wait and see thing. I also realized when I went into my classroom that I do not have a projector for my smartboard yet. I was promised one last year and it never happened. So, is this year going to be the same? I love to use technology but we have to have technology in order to use it. I guess I will just wait and see.

This being said, I am off to run the dogs and teach my online class. Then if it is not raining find something fun to do with my kids. I think today involves building a turtle enclosure in the backyard for land turtles. Have a great day!!

Where I would rather be....

First Post

Good morning. I am taking a blog class and one of the projects was to find a blog site and create a blog. I have had blogs before but did not keep up with the daily posting. It was before blogging became popular and before it was this easy.
It is July and I should be thinking about getting my classroom ready for August. I am not ready to start that project but will keep thinking about it.
